Dakota Hotel Glasgow > The Exchange
Nikki and Jackie both started their Glasgow wedding day in separate rooms of the Dakota Hotel. Each set of preparations had their own vibes, with Nikki’s room being flooded with serene natural light and Jackie’s being a mad-dash to get everyone ready in time.
They both made their way separately to The Exchange where the scene was perfectly set for a lovely humanist ceremony. This was followed by a quick nip around the corner to their favourite bar, Tabac on Mitchell Lane.
The party was a lively one, and at one point the happy couple opted to step out into Royal Exchange Square for some casual portraits before dancing the night away.
“It was easy, no pressure and no awkward forced moments. We loved the dance floor images and seeing how happy everyone was. All the huge smiles and the real emotions that were caught on camera.”
“John blended in with the crowd very well, he got all the shots we wanted but it didn’t feel like there was a camera in our faces. There’s one photo during the ceremony where it’s us and Anne and we are just all laughing, enjoying the moment.”
